The False Creek Kitchen & Main Floor Renovation

Our clients were both recently widowed, then later found each other and decided to get married. This space was originally his but they wanted to make it theirs. The entire condominium in False Creek was completely renovated. Our design team met with the clients to redesign both the kitchen and bathrooms and to work out all the different fixtures and finishes for the renovation. The lighting throughout the entire suite was redesigned and updated. Cabinets custom-built to fit the required spaces were installed in not only the kitchens and bathrooms but also in both closets. As essentially two households were coming together with years of memories it was necessary to maximize the storage area and living spaces. Our design team, along with the clients’ input, carefully coordinated the flooring, cabinets, countertop, and backsplashes to work together in the kitchen. Both bathrooms were also redesigned to meet the clients’ needs and desires. A large, unused jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was replaced with a beautiful walk-in shower and additional cabinetry. New floors, baseboards and moldings as well as three coats of paint were installed throughout the entire suite to give it a fresh, new look.

A new stove with range fan were installed in the made-over kitchen. All lower cabinets, except those under the sink, are drawers. This was done for maximum utilization of the space. A new dishwasher was installed in the kitchen.

Caesarstone quartz countertops were chosen for maximum durability. Pot lights and pendant lights were used throughout the kitchen for style and function.

The maple cabinets in the hallway and maple dressers in the master closet were custom made to match the cabinetry throughout the suite.
