This kitchen renovation was part of a larger addition project. As part of the addition project the size of the kitchen was doubled because the clients enjoy cooking and wanted enough space for two people to prepare meals. As such, two kitchen sinks were designed into the kitchen that could both be used for food preparation when preparing larger meals and for smaller meals one could be dedicated to food prep and vegetables and the other dedicated to cleanup. Custom made, solid maple cabinets with plywood bases were installed in this u-shaped kitchen with peninsula. Granite countertops with an organic vein pattern were chosen to give the kitchen a natural feel. A gorgeous, natural stone tile backsplash was installed to make the cabinets pop. The clients selected a natural cork flooring that is softer underfoot and warmer than tile. The clients wanted a very classy looking kitchen, therefore a total of 18 pot lights were built into this stunning kitchen.
